Teapigs | Winter Special

Teapigs, a cult tea if there ever was such a thing. Most people have heard of Teapigs even if they haven't tried them but I would say they are on the luxury end of the tea spectrum and a really indulgent treat for the taste buds. Fruity teas are nice but I live for those winter flavours to make the 3pm slump a little more bearable or a warm treat before bed.

Flamingo Candles | It’s Christmas Time

If you tell me that Christmas candles don't excite you then I think your lying! I mean candles are great all year round but they are practically a necessity at this time of year. Not only do they give you the perfect Christmas movie and snack ambiance but the smell of your favourate winter scent can be all you need to put you in the festive spirit.

Raw Halo | Keeping It Raw

I don't know if you've noticed recently but raw chocolate has become quite a thing. Made from natural ingredients (and most of them refined sugar free), Raw Halo have in my opinion made one of the best bars on the market. Not to mention, the most stunning packaging I've ever seen a chocolate bar come in.

So, is Charcoal The New Black?

If you had asked me a few years ago if I would be putting charcoal on my face I would of probably looked a little horrified. Oh how times have changed, charcoal is now a best selling ingredient in many beauty related products on the market and you would be surprised at the benefit it can have on your skin if you add it into your daily regime.

Most people like unicorns right? They seem to have become a huge thing this last year and i'm not ashamed to admit I've been well and truly drawn in. I bought these cute little unicorn sugar plaques on a whim from Lakeland and i knew i had to make something fun with them!

I've loved and used Bomb Cosmetics for as long as I can remember, they were the first brand that I bought a bath bomb from all those years ago as a teenager. Everything is 100% handmade and they use natural ingredients wherever possible. Not to mention it's all so damn cute!

Flamingo Candles | New In

I'm excited to be back with a what's new from Flamingo Candle HQ post! I swear they are absolutely killing it as a brand and growing bigger by the month. I am a major candle addict and I cannot tell you how excited I get when they release new scents and gorgeous, inventive jars to match. They have to be the most creative candle brand out there too with all their different designs.

Mist Me Up | Patisserie De Bain

Patisserie De Bain are one of those brands that the scents make you wonder if the product could actually be edible! I mean there not, so I don't recommend you eat it but it always smells SO good. The latest launch from the brand is the body mists which I personally think are multi purpose and will appeal to everyone.

Sticky Orange Almond Cake | Recipe

When I made this sticky orange almond cake a few months back I knew I needed to share the recipe. You wouldn't believe me if I told you it's naturally dairy, gluten and even refined sugar free! It tastes amazing and it's not that hard to make, nor do you need that many ingredients. If your looking for a somewhat healthier treat then look no further, I've got you covered.

Sleep Well With Feather & Down

I don't sleep well and its the bane of my life. Insomnia is a nightmare and can be caused by so many different things from illness to hormones. There might not be a "cure" for insomnia but there's many things you can do to help, my favourite one being, lavender!

Here Comes The Sun | Skinny Tan

Or not as the case might be with our summer this year! That's ok though because we can fake it until the Indian summer begins in September. I've tried a lot of fake tans over the past 10 years, that range from £3.99 St Moriz to £20 Xen Tan. I was super excited when Skinny Tan wanted me to review their range of sunless tanners and accessorises, especially as I had a couple of days away at a spa coming up which meant it was the perfect opportunity to really test these bad boys out.

Unicorn Dreams | Flamingo Candles

They've done it again!
The award for the cutest candle goes to my babes over at Flamingo Candles HQ. Who doesn't want a glittery unicorn candle, even at 28. When I saw this I knew I instantly had to buy one, especially as they are limited edition and exclusive to Candle Scentral.

Zoella's Done It Again | Jelly & Gelato

Zoella has done it again! She's added a new range to her ever growing collection and this smells just as good, if not better than the last. I love the name, Jelly and Gelato. Let's take a minute to talk about the packaging though, I am loving the colour combination and that little straw. I didn't purchase the rest of the range (although I might buy the body pudding!) but everything else is just as beautiful.

Coming Off The Pill | 1 Year Update

I meant to write this post at 6 months but read online that its a take a whole year for your body to realise the changes from taking the contraceptive pill so here we are! Better late than never, right?
A year ago I went to the doctors for blood tests due to my ongoing relentless fatigue, completely unrelated to the pill. I saw a locum doctor and she took my blood pressure, it was higher than normal but that's not unusual since I suffer with white coat syndrome (who doesn't!), it was however enough for her to ask me to check my blood pressure at home everyday for the next week. We talked about my migraine situation and the fact I suffer with aura, it was then she proceeded to scare the crap out me. I was apparently at high risk of a stroke if I continued taking the combined pill and she wanted me to swop to a mini pill, Cerelle. This is where things went to shit.

Benefit | Cheek Parade

I'm really excited to review this new palette. In fact I was really bloody excited to receive it! When I saw Benefit were releasing this blush kit I so desperately wanted it and then when I was given it as a present, I felt very lucky. The five powders are suited to most skin tones, if your pale like me then the new Hoola Lite powder will be your new favourite, must have make up item.

Patisserie De Bain | Just In

I cant resist gorgeous smelling hand cream, can you? I'm also a sucker for cute packaging, I know your not meant to judge something by what it looks like, but we all do it and these new hand creams from Patisserie De Bain definitely caught my eye. You may remember I wrote a post on four other hand creams from their collection in 2015 (if you don't, you can catch it here), recently they released three new spring/summer scent's and I put them to the test.

Flamingo Candles | Spring/Summer Collection

It's that time of year again where Flamingo Candles release their spring/summer collection. If you love candles as much as me (yes Steph, we know you love candles I hear you say), boy you're in for a treat. I was lucky enough to be sent a selection of their new range, I must admit I was pretty shocked at the fact they sent me four, even one is generous enough! I just know your going to love these as much as I do.

Nutella Bunny Biscuits | Recipe

I was recently having a browse though the internet looking for Easter baking inspiration and came across a photo of these little bunny biscuits. There was no recipe so I thought I would replicate them in my own way and add a little twist of my own. Tracking down a mini rabbit cutter was a mission in itself! These are so simple and I think they will go down a treat over the long Easter weekend.

My Hair Care Essentials

I am one of those people who buy's products and then doesn't use them up before I get bored and will buy something else. I'm like those Americans that stockpile groceries only I do this with hair oils and make up. However, this does mean I have tried a lot of different brands and formulas so I feel pretty confident in the fact I can recommend my favourites to you!

I've talked about Teapigs so many times on my blog that I would be surprised if you didn't know they are my favourite tea brand. Last month they released their new collection of "Feel Good Teas" which are packed full of great health benefits to give you either an energy boost, a little detox or help you fall asleep just that little bit easier.

Barry M | Matte Me Up Lip Kit

Last month Barry M released a lip kit which gives the Kylie Cosmetic's a run for their money. I know they've been a big deal this last year but I refused to pay $29 (£23) plus postage and customs for a liquid lipstick. I'm so glad a high street brand has jumped on the bandwagon and can offer *almost* the same thing for a third of the price. Barry M is a much loved, affordable brand which I must admit I associate mostly with nail polish and my all time favourite clubbing lipstick when I was 18. Please tell me someone else used to wear that awful frosted baby pink shade!

Flamingo Candles | Spring Melt Crowd

Its Spring! Well not officially, but March is the first month of Spring in my eyes and this months Flamingo Candle Melt Crowd pretty much confirms that. The first thing that hit me was the smell, in fact the post lady often comments on it - we are also on first name terms (too many parcels?) but that's a whole different story! I've recently had a little break to catch up on burning my extensive collection of melts and nearly missed this box, the lovely people at Flamingo HQ hooked me up though.

Davina's Oat & Maple Biscuits

Before I begin I should probably start by saying these biscuits are REFINED sugar free, i don't want the sugar police to be mad at me for using the wrong terms. I really enjoy a hobnob or two but they are so sweet, these yummy Davina's oat and maple biscuits are made with only maple syrup as the sweetener which makes them in my opinion, nicer. They are not very naughty but oh so nice!

Maybelline Baby Lips | Valentines

Valentines day is just around the corner, quite literally since it's tomorrow! I probably should of written this post a little earlier but I feel you could buy and use this lipbalm at any time of the year. I am a HUGE Baby Lips fan, well im a lover of lip balm in general. I own too many and I'm certain I have never used a whole one up. I'm going to set myself a challenge of doing that one day. The best thing about Maybelline Baby Lips is how afforable and hydrating they are.

A bit of Ooharr

2017, the year of self care. I think a lot of us are guilty of not looking after ourselves as well as we probably should, wether it be eating cosy comfort foods or neglecting our skin until it resembles sand paper in the winter. I cant help you eat better (pot calling the kettle black and all that!) but I can recommend a product that will help transform your skin for under £1.50!

Kissy Missy | Benefit

Benefit has been a staple brand in my make up collection since I was at school and that was a good 12 or so years ago now! Crap, I feel old. I think Benefits Boi-ing Concealer was my first "premium" item as well because back then 12 year olds didn't own an entire Mac shop and spots were a teenage girls best worst friend! Every Christmas Benefit bring out cute little gift sets and this year was no exception.

My New Love For Emma Hardie

I've heard a lot of bloggers talk about Emma Hardie over the last few years and how amazing her skincare is. I have always wanted to try it but at the premium price end of beauty products its not something I can afford normally. However, Feel Unique launched a new Pick and Mix service last year where you can choose 5 samples for £3.95, in fact i wrote a post about it so if you want to know a bit more about that you can read about it here. One of the samples I picked up was a 5g Moringa Cleansing Balm, I've actually had 3 of them now as I sort of fell in love with it.

Luxe Personalised Candle | Flamingo Candles

Happy New Year!

So by now we know how much I like a candle, Flamingo Candles in particular. I certainly don't need anymore that's for sure but I still bought another one didn't i. What am I like. I even had to cancel my Melt Crowd subscription because I have SO many, I just can't burn them quick enough. I love pink and gold, I don't know where its comes from but in the last year I have developed a bit of an obsession with those colours together, i mean its even my blog theme. I couldn't pass this little beauty up though could I?
