Flamingo Candles are one of my favourite brands for all things scent related. Everything about their candles is aesthetically pleasing, not to mention smells incredible. You may have seen a few posts I've written before about them as I am subscribed to their monthly candle melt box too. I just can't get enough of them. I was SO very lucky to have been sent these beautiful new Autumn/Winter scents, they definitely know how to treat us bloggers!
If you don't know anything about Flamingo Candles, they are a UK based company who specialise in hand poured organic candles. Made from 100% natural soy wax with cotton wicks (you won't get all that black smoke with these!), until recently all their candles had their distinctive flamingo logo, Florrie on, but they have branched out a little and added some new designs this season!
First up is this stunning stag jar which is part of the Christmas range. I was sent the Sherry Trifle scent which actually does smell like a trifle, it's sweet yet it has a very distinctive berry undertone to it. There are five other scents in the range - Gingerbread, Cinnamon Buns, Christmas Tree, Chocolate Orange and Bah! Humbug all with the cute stags head on. They also do each of these scents in pastel metal Christmas tins. As you can see I was sent Bah! Humbug which you've probably guessed from the name smells like a humbug sweetie. If your not familiar with them it's a hard boiled minty flavoured sweet! It reminds me a lot of candy canes though which are pretty similar in taste and super Christmassy. I love that it's pink and again has the stags on, different scents have other designs including little Christmas trees.
Currently you can only buy the Christmas collection from the Candle Scentral website. They actually have a shop in my hometown which is pretty convenient!
The Mermaid Shack candles are the ones I'm most excited about though. There are a few different scents and they come in tins, the original square jars and these beautiful ombré delights! It took me a while to work out the flavour of Mermaid Crush but I had a feeling it was watermelon and it is, mixed with both peach and lime too. It smells amazing both on cold sniff and when it's lit. Certainly the prettiest candle I've ever owned that's for sure! There are two other scents in the collection to choose from;
Mermaid Lagoon - Cherry, Vanilla and Plum
Mermaid Tears - Blackcurrent, Orange, Vanilla & Lemon.
Flamingo Candles have just relaunched their website and added all these plus so much more, there's also Halloween bad unicorn candles which if you follow me on Instagram (go follow me!) you will see I have the Salted Caramel Apple one! Seriously though go check their new site out, it looks awesome.
Prices start from £8.50 for a tin but most are £12, they burn for up to 50 hours so well worth the price! You can even get your candle gift wrapped if it's a present for just £2 extra.
Which candle do you want to try?
Until Next Time xo
