It's been so hot recently and i've been spending alot of time at the beach. I practically live on it so it's not far to go and there is nothing nicer on a warm day than a sea breeze! Knowing that I live on the beach, the lovely PR babe Tara over at Bomb Cosmetics sent me some beach themed bits to try. If you didn't already know I am part of the #bombbabesquad with some other lovely bloggers and we test out products to give you an idea of what to buy!
I am loving the whole beachside/nautical theme right now and literally couldn't be happier with this range, it's all so cute and summery! Although some of you may prefer to choose a shower over a bath in the summer, I find it's become a bit of a Friday night ritual to bath, exfoliate and fake tan, so its essential I have a bath blaster to hand.
Wish Upon A Starfish Bath Blaster £2.99 - This is a newbie and possibly my favourite in the collection. It turns the water a deep sea blue colour so you can feel like your in the ocean whilst the little starfish plaque just floats around the bath. There's some glitter in this one (see this post about biodegrable glitter), so it has a slight shimmer too. It's made with eucalpytus and beragmot essential oils which gives it a nice uplifting fresh scent. I really like how my skin feels after using one of these blasters, sometimes you can use a bath products and come out feeling itchy and irritated but I never do with these.
Mrs Bluesky Soap £2.99 - I am obsessed with how this soap looks. The whole cloud and rainbow vibe is right up my street and is visually pleasing! Not only that it smells good too since it made with eucalyptus and rosemary. I'm really loving the crisp natural smell this range has going on. I've said this before but I actually like to use these as hand soaps in my bathroom as they are WAY too nice to not have out where people can see them! They lather really well and don't leave your skin feeling dry like some soaps.
Beach Bomb Blaster Gift Pack £7.99 - Obviously the perfect gift for a beach loving babe but also a nice treat for yourself. The pack includes Azure Skies, Mermaid Delight and The Ugly Duckling bath blasters. All three are packed full of cocoa and shea butter to keep your skin hydrated, super soft and smelling fresh. Azure is filled full of cederwood whilst Mermaid Delight has a more tropical scent and leaves the bath BRIGHT yellow. I also love the tiny seashell on top, totally reminds me of The Little Mermaid.
Starfish Wishes Blaster Card £4.99 - I've said it before and i'll say it again - I freaking love these cards! The idea of sending someone a bath bomb and a card at the same time is genius. Especially if your sending it by post, it's a present and card in one. Plus they fit through the letter box. This design is super cute and ties in perfectly with the nautical theme. There's over 30 in the range, so your bound to find one for every occasion!
Which was your favourite product? I find it tough to choose just one because to be honest it's rare I come across a Bomb Cosmetic product I don't like (apart from a bath blaster from the Christmas range that looked like a glitter factory had exploded all over the bath and myself, ha!). I can't believe we are nearing the end of august soon and thinking about Autumn. Or well at least i am since its by far my favourate season. I can't wait for hot chocolates, cosy clothes and candles to be part of my life again. Until then I wont wish away this beautiful weather and enjoy the beach whilst I can!
