A Beautiful Escape | Second Edition

Last summer I bought a beauty bag that was filled full of really useful deluxe minis and when I saw they had released another, Beautiful Escape Second Edition, I knew I had to get my hands on it. All the products in the box are part of the Estee Lauder companies which tend to be quite luxurious and high end brands.

Now I know the thing you really want to know is how much is the bag, in fact you've probably scrolled straight to the bottom to find out but HA, it's up here! So it's £25, yep you've heard (read) that right..its worth £70 based on the price per ml of the full size products. I reckon that's about right too as these are probably the only beauty boxes, well bags that are good value for money and your most likely going to use all the products. I hate when you buy subscription boxes and you end up using only one or two of the products. Right, so here's a run down of whats inside -

MAC Liptensity Lipstick In Ginger Rose - FULL SIZE 3.6g (£18)

The main reason I bought this was for the Mac lipstick, its full size and retails at £18 so that's almost most of the price of the bag. I have been using Mac Cremecup for the last year and its nearly all gone, sob, so I needed to replace it and this is a similar colour - although perhaps slightly more blue toned. It's part of the Liptensity range which has a nice satin finish and a gel base which makes it pretty much glide on!

I'm happy with all the products in there but I do think the Origin's products could have been a bit bigger than 15ml. I use the Ginzing Energy Boosting Moisturiser everyday anyway so having a travel size is really helpful. I would say there's only maybe 4 applications in there but it's a really good moisturiser and I fully recommend it!

Surprisingly there are still boxes available so if you are interested in purchasing one, be quick! They never hang around, especially when they get mentioned on forums. You can purchase it from any of the above brands websites and its FREE DELIVERY! I got mine from Aveda because you got two samples with your order but I think its possibly sold out on there now. If you order it from Bobbi Brown you can get a mini lip gloss, extra repair moisture cream or make up remover on the go. For the lipstick alone I think its worth the added extras but even the Bumble and Bumble shampoo/conditioner duo are worth £29. It's also a good way to try out new products without the commitment of buying the full size.

Until Next Time xo
