Sweet cookie of mine

So I love baking, but normally cookies are not my thing. They are either to thin and a bit dry or really thick and you can taste the flour, I'm just not a successful cookie baker! But i have found the perfect recipe,  hallelujah. Maybe that's just all I needed, the perfect cookie recipe! So Tanya burr the youtube sensation has finally allowed me to have amazingly yummy homemade cookies finally.

Because I'm so overjoyed and will NEVER bake another cookie recipe ever i will share this wonderful recipe with you too.

Set your oven to 200 degrees celsius (I thought was to hot too, but it's not don't worry)

You will need :)

200g butter (I used salted as prefer the taste)
300g caster sugar
1 egg
325g self raising flour
200g white chocolate
200g of milk or dark chocolate

Basically if you have a food processor or a mixer just put everything but the chocolate in and whizz whizz whizz! If not mix the butter and sugar together first then add the egg and give it a good old beat (sniggers) then add the flour a little at a time unless you want to resemble a ghost and your kitchen to be a lovely shade of white. Then break the chocolates into chunks, but keep them big!
Roll it all into a nice big cookie dough ball and try your very hardest not to eat any, oh who am I kidding have a nice big chunk! Then break it into 10 balls and place onto 2 baking trays on parchment or grease proof paper and into the oven for just 10 minutes. Make sure you place them well apart on the tray, if this means 3 batches then so be it because you don't want your cookies to resemble a huge giant cookie. Well unless you want a giant one in which case go ahead! Let them cool for 20 minutes and then eat one (or 5) warm as they melt and ooze chocolate.

Yum yum yum!!

Until next time xoxo
